40G QSFP+

The FHTEK’s 40G QSFP+ serials offer customers high-density and low-power 40 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for the data center and enterprise. Our complete product line includes QSFP+ SR4, eSR4,LR4, LR4 Lite, PSM4 series for applications. The 40G 1310nm QSFP+ transceiver is a full-duplex, photonic-integrated optical transceiver providing a high-speed link up to 43.02 Gbps over 10km and the 40G 850nm QSFP+ is a parallel photonic-integrated fiber transceiver that provides a signaling rate of 41.25 Gbps over 300 m of OM3 multimode fiber.

40G QSFP+DAC(Direct Attach Cable ) are widely used in data centers. They have been built into 8pirs twin axial copper cable assembly suitable for short reach applications. The design allows for a serial data transmission up to 41.2Gbps. The modules are complied with QSFP+ Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA) SFF-8436. QSFP+ DAC transceivers is targeted at data centers with high speed aggregation external backplane, point to point switch to switch, and network integrated cards used in high performance computing applications.

40G QSFP+ AOC(Active Optical Cable ) are also widely used in data centers to accelerate data connectivity for storage,networking and computing. AOC is composed of optical transceivers in both ends and multimode fiber cable in between. This integrated optical module solution removes the complicated optical fiber interface and brings friendly and intuitive electrical-to-electrical interface to users. Comparing traditional copper solutions like DAC, key advantages of AOC includes relatively longer connection up to 100m, lower weight for high port count architectures and lower power consumption.
